Hardesta ("Hardesta", "we", "us", or "our") provides part-sourcing and manufacturing-quote services connecting clients with a vetted network of manufacturers. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through hardesta.com and our contact channels, how we use it, and the choices available to you. By using this site or submitting a request through our contact form or by email, you agree to the practices described here.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

(b) Project information you share — a description of the part(s) you need sourced, requirements, deadlines, and any designs, files, or links you choose to send us through our contact form, by email, or other channels.

(c) Communications — records of correspondence between you and Hardesta, including messages submitted through our contact form and any follow-up email exchanges.

(d) Technical information — standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and access times) generated automatically when you visit our site. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics scripts.

We do not require account creation and do not collect or store authentication credentials.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use the information we collect to: (a) respond to your enquiry and provide manufacturing quotes; (b) identify and contact suitable manufacturers in our vetted network on your behalf; (c) communicate with you about the status of your request; (d) maintain records for legal, accounting, and operational purposes; and (e) improve our services. We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects, and we do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING

Where applicable data protection law requires it, we process your information on the basis of: your consent (for example, when you submit a contact request); the necessity of processing to take steps toward a contract at your request (for example, providing a quote); and our legitimate interests in operating and improving our services.

(a) Manufacturer network partners — project details and designs may be shared with manufacturers in our vetted network, under non-disclosure obligations, solely to generate and fulfil quotes. Partners are prohibited from retaining or using your information for any other purpose.

(b) Service providers — we may use third-party providers for functions such as email delivery, cloud hosting, and infrastructure, who process information only on our instructions and under appropriate confidentiality obligations.

(c) Legal requirements — we may disclose information if required to do so by law, or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with legal process or protect our rights.

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

5. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

Hardesta is based in Bengaluru, India, and our infrastructure providers may process and store data in India and other jurisdictions. Where information is transferred internationally, we take reasonable steps to ensure it continues to receive an adequate level of protection.

6. DATA RETENTION

We retain project and communication records for as long as necessary to provide our services, and for a reasonable period afterward for legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution purposes — typically no longer than 24 months from your last contact with us, unless a longer period is required by law or an ongoing engagement. You may request earlier deletion at any time, subject to Section 8.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. YOUR RIGHTS
